Project Related FAQs

What types of projects do you handle?

RanD Remodeling specializes in kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, carpentry, drywall, painting, interior updates, storage solutions, punch lists, and home repairs. We can also coordinate licensed trade professionals when a project involves plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or other specialized work.

Probably not! We understand how difficult it can be to find a dependable company for smaller projects. We handle everything from carpentry, drywall repairs, flooring, painting, shelving, trim, and fixture installations to larger remodeling projects. Tell us what you need, and we will let you know whether we are the right fit.

Absolutely. Many customers know what they want to improve but are unsure about the best way to accomplish it. We can help you evaluate options, select materials, prioritize improvements, and find practical solutions that fit your home, style, and budget.

Permit requirements depend on the location and scope of work. If a permit or licensed trade professional is required, we will discuss that with you and explain how it will be handled as part of the project.

Yes. We understand that condominium and HOA projects may involve association applications, insurance documentation, work-hour restrictions, elevator requirements, sound-control standards, and product approvals. We work with the customer and association to address these requirements before construction begins.

Absolutely. We are happy to discuss which parts of the project you may be able to complete yourself such as demolition, painting, cleanup, purchasing materials, or other appropriate tasks.

Before the project begins, we will clearly define who is responsible for each part of the work and when it must be completed so it does not affect the schedule or the quality of the finished project.

Certain work may still need to be completed by RanD Remodeling or a licensed professional for safety, permitting, insurance, or warranty reasons.

Our goal is to help you make informed choices and find sensible ways to manage your budget without compromising the finished result.

Investment & Payment FAQs

Can I afford to hire RanD Remodeling?

We work on projects of many different sizes, from smaller home improvements and punch-list items to complete kitchen and bathroom renovations. We provide detailed, transparent proposals so you understand what is included and where your money is going.

When a customer has a larger wish list, we can often separate the work into phases or provide options so you can prioritize what matters most.

We may not always be the least expensive option, but we are committed to delivering quality workmanship, dependable communication, and lasting value.

We begin by learning about your project, your goals, and your anticipated budget. Depending on the size and complexity of the work, we may schedule an on-site consultation before preparing a detailed proposal. We will explain the process and any applicable consultation or planning fees before you commit to anything.

Our standard deposit is 25% and is generally due one week before the scheduled start of work. The remaining balance is due at completion unless the proposal specifies a different payment schedule for a larger or multi-phase project.

That depends on the project. Customers may supply certain finish items, such as faucets, light fixtures, ceiling fans, tile, or flooring, as long as the products are appropriate for the installation and are available when needed. We will clearly identify customer-supplied items in the proposal.

We accept checks and Zelle. Credit card payments may also be available with a 3% processing fee. Your proposal will explain the payment terms for your specific project.
